Hello friends and family!
Welcome to our new blog! We are super excited to start documenting all of our adventures overseas! We found out this week that we will be moving to Okpo, South Korea in a couple of months for work and we couldn't be more excited! Okpo is on a small island (Geoje Island) on the southern side of South Korea (thank you to wikipedia for a little more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geojedo). I've been there a couple of times before and found it to be very beautiful (especially when comparing it to our current location of Houston, TX)! Ryan hasn't been there yet but I think he will feel the same way about our future home!
We will be working in the Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) fabrication yard and will get to wear steel-toed boots & hard hats to work - a dream come true for two engineers! We are so looking forward to the new jobs, opportunity to experience a new culture, and the ability to travel all over Asia! We will use this blog to keep all of our friends and family posted about what we're up to!
